The recipients of TVNewsCheck’s annual Technology Women to Watch Awards — ScreenHits TV’s Rose Adkins Hulse and FreeWheel’s Yushi Xu — are emerging as promising innovators in the VOD and ad tech realms. The 30-year-old recipient of this year’sTVNewsCheck‘s Women in Technology Woman to Watch honor heads a team that is building a new content management system to support all of the NFL’s web and mobile products. She is also leading a redesign of the league’s eight-year-old website. “We’re focused on … how do we optimize moving audiences to the right experience,” she says. “Right now, that’s often mobile.” The award will be presented at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, on Tues., April 19, in Room N227 of the Convention Center.

Leung Named TVN’s Tech Woman To Watch

The NFL’s director of product, Jennifer Leung, will be honored during TVNewsCheck’s annual Women in Technology Awards presentation on April 19 during the NAB Show in Las Vegas. She is responsible for innovation and product management of the NFL’s digital Web, video and publishing products.

Balloting Opens For Women In Tech Awards

TVNewsCheck’s 2015 Women in Technology Awards support the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation’s Technology Apprenticeship Program, which places graduating engineers who are women or people of color in broadcast industry internships. The Women in Technology Leadership Award recognizes women who have contributed significantly toward advancing their industry technologically, while The Technology Women to Watch Awards honor women in radio, TV and digital who show significant promise.
