Singer, Actor, ‘Gambler’ Kenny Rogers Dies

The Grammy-winning country/crossover balladeer whose persona as “The Gambler” crossed over from record to TV died Friday at 81. Rogers’ numerous hits included “Lucille,” “Lady” and “Islands in the Stream.”
