In the TV business, WWL was as much a New Orleans landmark as Jackson Square or Café du Monde. The CBS affiliate dominated the Crescent City for decades, until General Manager Tim Ingram and his team from Fox affiliate WVUE flipped the market.
Station group veteran Tim Ingram will oversee stations in Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and Iowa in addition to continuing leading WVIE New Orleans.
The former WVUE New Orleans VP-GM will succeed retiring Leon Long as corporate group vice president. She, in turn, will be succeeded by Tim Ingram, VP-GM of the company’s Cape Girardeau, Mo., duopoly.
KAIT GM Tim Ingram Moves To KFVS
Tim Ingram, general manager of ABC affiliate KAIT Jonesboro, has been promoted by owner Raycom to Cape Girardeau, where he becomes VP-GM of CBS affil KFVS and its CW multicast channel WQWQ.
