Fox Buying Station In Seattle

It’s paying Venture Technologies Group $10 million for KBCB Bellingham, which now airs ShopHQ and Estrella programming. The move follows last month’s notice that it is ending the Fox affiliation of Tribune’s KCPQ.

Hubbard Broadcasting, owner of NBC affiliate WNYT Albany, N.Y., is buying the market’s MNT affiliate, WNYA, from Venture Technologies.


Rogow Buying Philly LPTV For $300K

Loop Media LLC, owned by Lawrence Rogow and Paul Koplin, both of Los Angeles, are buying  low-power WTSD-CA Philadelphia, from nonprofit Priority Commmunications Ministries for $300,000, according to an FCC filing seeking approval. Rogow is chairman of the Venture Technologies Group LLC., a group with full-power stations in Seattle; Lansing, Mich.; and Peoria, Ill., and numerous low-power stations elsewhere.
