Major Newsroom Shakeup At WAWS-WTEV
Five high-profile anchors at Cox-operated Fox-CBS duopoly in Jacksonville, Fla., are being booted off the air. Anchors Mark Spain, Paige Kelton, Lynnsey Gardner and Mike and Tera Barz were told last week that the station has “decided to go in a different direction,” said a person familiar with the situation. The anchors’ last day will be on or around Sept. 1, the source said.
