He now has oversight of the Raleigh, N.C.; Pensacola, Fla./Mobile, Ala.; Tallahassee, Fla.; and Gainesville, Fla., markets. He will also continue in his role as vice president and general manager of WEAR-WFGX Pensacola and will continue to have oversight of providing services to WPMI-WJTC Mobile.
The Sinclair management veteran will run WEAR and WFGX in Pensacola, Fla., and also oversee WPMI-WJTC in Mobile, Ala.
WEAR, WKRG, WPMI, WFNA, WFGX and WJTC began broadcasting Thursday with NextGen TV technology.

According to the Sinclair ABC affiliate in Pensacora, Fla., on Sunday: “Out of an abundance of caution, we have suspended production in our newsroom starting Sunday for the next several days. We will be working with our sister station WPMI in Mobile to bring you coverage all along the Gulf Coast.”
