The Sinclair CBS affiliate in Grand Rapids, Mich., is will start two-hour broadcasts on Jan. 19.

Sinclair’s Baltimore Fox affiliate is planning to launch weekend morning news programs starting Jan. 20. The news programs will air from 6 to 8 a.m. Saturdays and 7-9 a.m. and 10-11 on Sundays.

The CBS Chicago O&O is getting back into the weekend morning news business, courtesy of the same people who dropped out of it more than three years ago. Starting Sept. 22, CBS 2 Chicago Weekend Morning News will air from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays and from 7 to 8 a.m. Sundays. Both one-hour newscasts will be anchored by Marissa Bailey, with weather by meterologist Ed Curran.
