He now has oversight of the Raleigh, N.C.; Pensacola, Fla./Mobile, Ala.; Tallahassee, Fla.; and Gainesville, Fla., markets. He will also continue in his role as vice president and general manager of WEAR-WFGX Pensacola and will continue to have oversight of providing services to WPMI-WJTC Mobile.
The Sinclair management veteran will run WEAR and WFGX in Pensacola, Fla., and also oversee WPMI-WJTC in Mobile, Ala.
WEAR, WKRG, WPMI, WFNA, WFGX and WJTC began broadcasting Thursday with NextGen TV technology.

Beginning Aug. 12, the Sinclair-owned ABC affiliate in Pensacola, Fla., will provide its sister MNT affiliate with a half-hour newscast at 9:30 p.m.
