New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include an opening for a general sales manager at WVII and WFVX, the ABC and Fox affiliates in Bangor, Maine, owned by Rockfleet Broadcasting.
“We are a very small company,” said Michael Palmer, WVII and WFXV’s general manager. “We are unencumbered by layers of bureaucracy. So we came up with this idea and we made it happen. I think we came up with a winning formula.”
Rentrak Corp. today announced a multi-year local TV ratings contract with Rockfleet Broadcasting for three stations: ABC affiliate WVII and Fox affiliate WFVX Bangor, Maine (DMA 155), as well as NBC affiliate, WJFW Wausau, Wis.
