WOW! Battling Meredith Over Atlanta Retrans

WOW Names Telecom Exec Teresa Elder CEO

In a surprise announcement, WideOpenWest has named veteran telecom executive Teresa Elder as its new CEO, replacing Steven Cochran, who will step down to an advisory role. Cochran is a former Arthur Anderson accountant who had steadily risen through the ranks at WOW since 2002, guiding the Englewood, Colo., cable operator through a debt crisis and leading its IPO last summer. He was promoted to CEO of the company in 2014 after serving as CFO.
