Wonya Lucas, who joined Hallmark Media as president and CEO in 2020 at a time when the programmer needed an uplift, is leaving at the end of the year but will remain on the board of directors, the company said today. Hallmark Companies CEO Mike Perry, to whom she reported, will assume her responsibilities.
Wonya Lucas has been named president and CEO of Crown Media Family Networks. In her new role, Lucas will be responsible for the strategic direction, daily management and growth of the three linear networks — the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama — as well as the company’s digital platforms and subscription streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now.
