Roanoke PBS To Shut Down Two Satellites

Television viewers in far Southwest Virginia will no longer be able to watch Roanoke’s PBS station due to the loss of state funding. Blue Ridge PBS (WBRA) is shutting down its transmitters in Marion (WMSY) and Norton (WSBN), which means viewers will not be able to receive the station’s over-the-air digital signal.
