‘You’ Tops Nielsen U.S. Streaming Charts For Second Week After Season 4 Part 1 Debut

The Nielsen U.S. streaming chart didn’t change much from the second week of February to the third. You and New Amsterdam continued to dominate from Feb. 13 to Feb. 19. The first five episodes of Season 4 hit Netflix on Feb. 9, which helped the series tally 1.5 billion streaming minutes in its first full week on the platform and keep the No. 1 spot on Nielsen’s list. That’s down 15% from the 1.7B minutes that the series collected in the first half of Season 4’s first few days on Netflix the week prior.

‘You’ Challenges ‘Squid Game’ On Streaming Chart

The third season of Netflix’s You premiered to big streaming numbers in the week of Oct. 11-17, coming close to unseating Squid Game in total viewing time. You earned 1.94 billion minutes of viewing time for the week (season three premiered Oct. 15), finishing second overall behind Squid Game. The Korean hit amassed 2.25 billion minutes, down from 3.02 billion the previous week but the show’s third consecutive week over 2 billion.
