Cheddar’s Steinberg To Keynote OTT News Summit

Jon Steinberg, CEO and founder of digital business news network Cheddar, will keynote TVNewsCheck’s first OTT News Summit on June 11 at the Microsoft Conference Center in New York.

Launched in 2016, Steinberg’s millennial-focused “post cable network” streams eight hours a day from the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange, New York’s Flatiron Building, Los Angeles and the White House. In its two year existence, Cheddar has built a significant presence on OTT and social platforms including Amazon, Sling TV, Pluto TV, Twitch and Facebook Live.

Steinberg has raised $50 million in venture capital funding for Cheddar. Prior to launching it, he was CEO of DailyMail.com North America, where he grew revenue 45% in his tenure. Before that, he was president and COO of BuzzFeed. The Columbia University M.B.A. graduate also serves on the board of Bustle and is an advisor to theSkimm and Taboola.
