Jim Mannix Named WAGA General Sales Mgr.
Jim Mannix today was appointed vice president and general sales manager at Fox- owned WAGA Atlanta (DMA 10). His first day will be Thursday, Aug. 1. Mannix replaces Sant Perez, who retired last month.
Most recently, Mannix was a local sales manager for WFLD-WPWR, the Fox owned duopoly in Chicago. Prior to that, he was the New York national sales manager for the group’s WTTG-WDCA Washington.
Earlier, Mannix was an account executive for Fox Stations Sales. He has also held various sales roles at Zenith Media Services, HRP, Telerep and Sandbox.com.
Mannix holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Hofstra University. He is a mentor for the U.S. Military Veterans mentorship program, which assists veterans in their transition from the armed services to the civilian workforce.
