KWHB Tulsa Sold For $2.1 Million

Christian Television Corp. is buying the Oklahoma independent from Family Broadcasting Corp.

Family Broadcasting Corp. has sold its independent KWHB Tulsa, Okla. (DMA 58), to Christian Television Corp. for $2.1 million.

Family, a religious broadcaster headed by Drew Sumrall, president-CEO, owns five other TV stations as well as FM and shortwave stations.

Christian Television Corp. is headed by Robert D’Andrea, president, owns five TV stations and the Christian Television Network.

Greg Guy of Patrick Communications brokered the sale.
