Mission Broadcasting Names Two VPs

Lance B. Carwile is promoted to vice president and corporate program director, while Sharon K. Moser moves up to vice president and corporate controller of the 21-station group.

Mission Broadcasting today made two promotions to its corporate suite.

Lance B. Carwile moves to the position of vice president and corporate program director for Mission’s group of 21 television stations. In this role, he will continue to oversee all of the programming functions for the company’s stations in 18 U.S. markets.

And Sharon K. Moser was named vice president and corporate controller. She will continue to oversee all of the accounting functions for Mission’s stations.

Carwile joined Mission in August of 2017; his television background covers more than 35 years of experience, including 20 years as a station program director. In addition, Carwile was a group program coordinator and regional program director for LIN Media, Media General and Nexstar Broadcasting.

He earned his bachelor’s Degree in film/television from The Ohio State University.

Moser joined Mission in August 2015; her resume includes nearly 30 years of accounting experience. Her broadcast accounting backgroud also includes 12 years at the station level and 10 years in corporate accounting for Nexstar Broadcast Group.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
