Nielsen And Block Announce Multi-Year Renewal

Nielsen and Block Communications said today that they have reached a multi-year renewal agreement for Nielsen Local TV measurement services across Block’s television stations including WDRB (Fox), WBKI (CW) and WMYO (MNT) in Louisville, Ky.; WAND (NBC) in Champaign-Springfield-Decatur, Ill.; and WOHL (ABC), WOHL DT2 (CBS), WLIO (NBC) and WLIO DT2 (Fox) in Lima, Ohio.

“Block Communications has a long-standing relationship with Nielsen, and we are happy to continue that partnership in our ever-changing business,” said Bill Lamb, VP, Block Communications.

With this new agreement, Block stations in Louisville will continue to use a comprehensive suite of Nielsen data to demonstrate value to advertisers that includes local consumer data through Nielsen Scarborough.
