TVNewsCheck will gather leading executives on both the buy and sell sides of the spot TV marketplace to talk about how to expand the number of marketers investing in local TV advertising during a webinar set for Aug. 6 at 1 p.m ET.

Speakers will address the evolution of performance-based campaigns, progress in the development of automated platforms to streamline transactions and how changes in audience measurement are likely to affect business in 2021.

“We are so pleased to be able to continue the conversation about how broadcasters and media buying agencies can optimize campaigns in a challenging economy,” said Kathy Haley, co-founder and publisher of TVNewsCheck. “Our first webinar on this topic, convened June 25, established that revenue has begun to rise since declining precipitously as a result of the lock-down orders associated with the global coronavirus pandemic. On Aug. 6, we hope to dive deeper into specific strategies for enhancing this growth, efforts to streamline workflow by automating tasks on the buy and sell side and meeting challenges in the audience measurement arena.”

Speakers:

He held local TV buying management roles for Hyundai/KIA at Bates USA, Carat, USA and Initiative for more than 20 years, while adding broader agency responsibilities.
