WSKY Norfolk Ups Kathy Yevak To GM

Lockwood Broadcast Group has appointed Kathy Yevak general manager of independent WSKY Norfolk, Va. (DMA 44).
She has been at the station for six years, serving as general sales manager for the past year. Prior to that she was the station’s local sales manager for more than five years.
She brings more than 30 years of TV sales experience to the role, all in the Norfolk market. Before WSKY, she worked at WAVY Norfolk and its parent, LIN Media.
Lockwood President Dave Hanna said: “Kathy, to me, equates positivity. She impresses everyone that way — personally, professionally, on your team or not, you know she’s a winner. I’m delighted to see her elevated to the top spot at SKY, a position she has earned and richly deserves.”
