Ann Hailer Promoted To CoxReps COO

The firm’s SVP and director of sales moves up, effective immediately.

CoxReps, a Cox Media Group (CMG) business, on Thursday promoted Senior Vice President and Director of Sales Ann Hailer to chief operating officer, effective immediately.

“Ann is a strategic business partner with a long, proven track record for delivering results in the media space,” said Billy Farina, president of CoxReps. “In this new role, she will play a pivotal role in leading CoxReps’ strategic priorities and will partner with our leaders to continue driving sustainable growth.”

A media-industry veteran, Hailer has spent most of her career with Cox Media Group, serving in various sales and management roles throughout her tenure. She joined CoxReps in 1997 as an account executive.

“I am incredibly honored and energized to partner with Billy and our talented leadership to help lead CoxReps, the top broadcasting television rep firm in the country. As we look to the future of media, I’m excited to continue driving innovation, strengthening our business and delivering superior service to our valued clients,” said Hailer.

In June, Cox Enterprises announced it was selling CoxReps, along with its radio stations and Gamut national advertising businesses, to a new broadcasting company that is substantially owned by private equity funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.
