Byron Allen To Be Honored At Harvard AASU’s Business Conference With ‘Legendary Honor’ Award

Media mogul Byron Allen will be honored with the inaugural Legendary Honor at the 50th annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference presented by the African American Student Union at Harvard Business School on Feb. 24-25. The conference recognizes the contributions of African American leaders and addresses key issues such as Black wealth creation, leadership, business ownership and societal equity.

At the conference’s VIP reception on Friday, Feb. 24, Allen, the founder-chairman-CEO of Allen Media Group, will receive the inaugural Legendary Honor award in front of an audience of African American leaders, executives, financiers, influencers and future leaders. In addition to receiving the inaugural Legendary Honor, Allen will also deliver the conference’s opening keynote speech on Saturday, Feb. 25.

The Legendary Honor will be presented to Allen by Gravy, a private network and community-driven education and investment platform for underrepresented professionals that also celebrates luminaries who’ve risen to the top of their industry through ownership.

Allen said: “I’m deeply humbled to receive the inaugural Legendary Honor from some of America’s best and brightest leaders during this historic weekend for African American business. This honor is particularly special because of Gravy’s mission of inspiring and empowering generational wealth, a critical issue to address within our underrepresented communities.”
