Christine Warren Named WTHR Marketing Dir.

Tegna-owned NBC affiliate WTHR Indianapolis (DMA 25) has named Christine Warren its director of marketing. She joins from Tegna Marketing Solutions in Dallas where she was director of client solutions strategy for the past five years.

“I am thrilled to add Christine to an already excellent leadership team at WTHR,” says Michael Brouder, WTHR president-GM. “She is a dynamic, proven leader focused on strategy and vision to take our consumer marketing and multiplatform brand initiatives to new levels.”

For more than 15 years, Warren guided broadcast creative, integrated marketing, local ad sales, news and public relations efforts at local television and entertainment properties. Prior to joining Tegna Marketing Solutions she held multiple leadership roles at Tegna’s WFMY Greensboro, N.C., and Anheuser-Busch/Busch Entertainment Corp. in Williamsburg, Va.

She began her local television career at KMTV Omaha, Neb.

Warren is a recent graduate of two leadership training programs, the Center for Creative Leadership and Tegna’s Executive Leadership Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism/communications at James Madison University.
