Cox Taps Soo Jin Oh As President Of Gamut

Cox Media Group’s Gamut, a provider of over-the-top advertising to select regional and local advertisers, has promoted Soo Jin Oh to president, effective immediately. In her new role, Oh will be responsible for driving innovation and continued engagement while overseeing Gamut’s day-to-day businesses and their functions.

For the past eight months, Oh has been co-chief operating officer and her latest appointment, CMG says, “is a crucial next step in delivering the innovation in digital intelligence that the evolving video landscape demands.”

Oh has more than 16 years of experience building sound and scalable support teams, spearheading data strategies and developing leading products in OTT and digital. Having started her career at Google, Oh has moved Gamut from a start-up organization launched in 2014, “to a growing, unique business able to provide best-in-class local OTT execution across diversified revenue streams of managed service and self-serve business,” the company said.

Oh holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and is an advisory board member of FreeWheel; a board member of Aventine Associates; and an Advanced TV committee member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
