Diana Wilkin Named GM Of KOKH-KOCB Oklahoma City

The veteran broadcast exec will oversee operations at Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Fox-CW duopoly in Oklahoma.

Sinclair Broadcast Group today appointed Diana Wilkin vice president/general manager of its KOKH (Fox) and KOCB (CW) in Oklahoma City.

Wilkin joins Sinclair from Twelve 24 Media, where she was a managing partner at the media industry consulting firm.

Rob Weisbord, Sinclair’s chief operating officer and president of broadcast, said, “Diana is a seasoned media executive with expertise in sales, news and digital leadership, along with an extensive financial management background. She will be a tremendous asset for the company, and we are thrilled she is joining us to lead KOKH and KOCB as VP-GM.”

Wilkin has held several executive leadership positions across the broadcast industry, including CBS Network’s president of affiliate relations and Fox Broadcasting’s SVP of network distribution.

She has also served as Vice President-General Manager at several stations, including WPEC West Palm Beach, Fla.; WAWS-WTEV Jacksonville, Fla.; KGPE Fresno, Calif.; KSAS Wichita, Kan.; and WSFX Wilmington, N.C.

A longtime member of the National Association of Broadcasters, Wilkin currently serves on several public and nonprofit boards, including the Broadcasters Foundation of America and Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in business finance from the University of Southern California where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
