Eric Strong Named SVP Of Strategic Initiatives For Fox Soul

Eric Strong today was named senior vice president of strategic initiatives for Fox Soul. Effective immediately, he will handle all direct sales, sponsorships, and integrations on the channel, reporting directly to Stephen Brown, EVP of programming and development for Fox Television Stations and Fox First Run.

Most recently, Strong was SVP of media platforms and strategic partnerships for Knocking. Prior to that, he was a consultant for AccuWeather Network. Previously, Strong was senior account executive of advertiser sales for the Tennis Channel.

Before that, he was the director of national television sales for Rentrak and spent two years as vice president of business development and as a consultant for Icon International. Strong was principal for StrongArm Media.

He began his career in media as vice president of sales for Warner Brothers/Lorimar Television/Lorimar-Telepictures, then vice president of sales for Sony Pictures Entertainment and later, vice president of national sales distribution for NBC Universal Domestic Television.

Strong attended San Diego Mesa College, El Camino College, UCLA Extension-The Business of Television and IAB Digital Fundamentals Training.
