Gray Names New GMs In Nevada, Louisiana

It chooses John Fiorelli to lead KOLO in Reno and Herb Bruce to oversee KALB in Alexandria.

Gray Television announced new leadership at two stations this morning.

John Fiorelli

At ABC affiliate KOLO Reno, Nev., promoted John Fiorelli to general manager/general sales manager, effective today. He has more than 20 years of media experience in the Reno market. In March 2006, he joined KOLO as account executive and, over the years, has served as the station’s business development manager, local sales manager and, since june 2016, general sales manager.

He succeeds Matt Eldridge, who recently retired after a long tenure with the station.

Senior Vice President Nick Matesi, himself a former KOLO general manager, said: “John’s passion for the business, the station, and the community makes him perfectly suited to lead KOLO-TV into the future.”

Herb Bruce

At Gray’s NBC affiliate KALB Alexandria, La., Herb Bruce was promoted to general manager/general sales manager. He joined the station as account executive nearly 19 years ago. Bruce worked as a senior account executive and local sales manager before being promoted to general sales manager six years ago.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

He is a lifelong resident of Central Louisiana and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.

Herb succeeds Michele Godard, who recently announced her retirement from KALB. Michele joined the station 28 years ago, and she led the station for the past 14 years. Gray said she will remain with KALB as a consultant through the end of this year to ensure a smooth transition.
