Gray Names Two New General Managers

Lori Bruffett is promoted to lead KBTX Waco-Temple-Bryan, Texas, while Scott Sanders is moved from Columbia, S.C., to head WMBF Myrtle Beach-Florence, S.C.

Gray Television today promoted Lori Bruffett and Scott Sanders to general manager positions.

In Waco-Temple-Bryan, Texas (DMA 82), Bruffett is now general manager of CBS affiliate KBTX. She started working at KBTX as an account executive in July 1988.

She became the station’s general sales manager in May 2011, and she has served as KBTX’s station manager since January 2014.

Scott Sanders

In Myrtle Beach-Florence, S.C. (DMA 97), Gray named Scott Sanders the new general manager of NBC affiliate WMBF, effective June 29. For the past 12 years, he has been director of sales for Gray’s WIS Columbia, S.C.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Prior to WIS, Sanders was the regional director of WRLH Richmond, Va., and WTVZ Norfolk, Va., and the general manager of WTVZ. Earlier, he spent five years as the national sales manager of KTVU San Francisco.
