John Cochrane Named Lockwood Charlottesville GM

Lockwood Broadcast Group has appointed John Cochrane the new general manager of WCAV (CBS-Fox)-WVAW-LD (ABC)-WAHU-CD (dark) in Charlottesville, Va. (DMA 183), effective on the close of the stations’ purchase from Gray Television for $25 million, anticipated to be in the second quarter of 2019.

Cochrane is currently GM of Lockwood’s WSKY Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News, Va. He has served in various sales management positions in Norfolk and Charleston, S.C., for the last 15 years.
