NAB Show Announces Winners Of NABiQ Innovation Challenge

The new program spotlights innovation and collaboration to tackle industry challenges.

Winning projects have been announced for NABiQ, a new networking series focused on innovation and held at last month’s 2022 NAB Show. Winners were selected for challenges related to NAB Show’s content pillars of Create, Connect and Capitalize.

The program’s coordinator, Maria Duloquin, facilitated 20 90-minute competition-style events during NAB Show. The sessions brought together participants with diverse business and technology expertise to collaborate on solutions to common challenges facing the broadcast, media and technology industries.

NABiQ challenges ranged from imagining new production workflows to building innovation hubs using a next-generation streaming platform. Teams were given one hour to discuss and develop projects, and had the opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas on camera.

“NABiQ provided a unique platform for media professionals across disciplines to work together on creative answers to pressing questions affecting the content lifecycle,” said Chris Brown, NAB executive vice president and managing director of Global Connections and Events. “We thank all NABiQ participants for sharing their fresh ideas with the NAB Show community and congratulate the winners on their outstanding collaborations.”

NABiQ’s media partners reviewed the pitches to select one winning pitch per zone. NABiQ’s media partners were ProVideo Coalition for Create, Feed Magazine for Connect and Cynopsis for Capitalize.
