Nexstar Names Andrew Wyatt Hagerstown GM

Nexstar Media Group on Monday appointed Andrew Wyatt vice president and general manager of WDVM and associated digital services including, serving Central and Western Maryland, South Central Pennsylvania, the Eastern panhandle of West Virginia and Northern Virginia (DMA 6).

He replaces Hugh Breslin who retired in June after many years of service. Wyatt’s appointment is effective immediately and he will report to Theresa Underwood, Nexstar Broadcasting SVP and regional manager.

Wyatt has extensive executive broadcast experience in television markets throughout the country with expertise in station and sales management, client and revenue development as well as local programming and content creation across multiple media platforms. He most recently was VP-GM of WFXG Augusta, Ga.

Prior to Augusta, he was VP-GM of KSWT Yuma, Ariz., for seven years. Before his tenure in Yuma, he served in various sales and sales management capacities with Emmis Communications in Albuquerque, N.M., and Tucson, Ariz. Wyatt started his broadcasting career as a producer/director in Roswell, N.M.

Wyatt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.
