Optimizing Spot TV In A Challenging Economy At TVN’s TV2025
Senior media buying and selling executives will unpack the latest in new categories, targeting and the TV industry’s progress in implementing automation and other technologies to streamline workflow in a panel at TVNewsCheck’s TV2025: Monetizing the Future, which will run virtually this year from Oct. 20 to 23 as part of NAB Show New York.
Kathy Doyle, EVP local investment, MagnaGlobal; Missy Evenson, VP local sales, The E.W. Scripps Co.; Jennifer Hungerbueler, EVP and managing director, local video and audio investment, Amplifi USA; and Michele Toller, VP, Empower MediaMarketing will join TVNewsCheck Contributing Editor Janet Stilson for Optimizing Spot TV in a Challenging Economy on Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. ET.
“In a year of unforeseen and sustained challenges, this panel will tackle some of the big issues around spot TV including the growth of impression- and performance-based selling, the road map for adding more advanced data into the buy/sell process and how broadcasters are using digital platforms to hang on to their historically huge share of political revenue,” said TVNewsCheck Editor Michael Depp. “Kathy, Missy, Jennifer and Michele bring an enormous wealth of perspective into the industry’s sometimes frustrating progress on these fronts.”
Other TV2025 panels will include Leadership in a Time of Accelerated Change; NextGen TV: Ready for Prime Time?; Optimizing Audiences: Turn a Short-Term Bump Into a Long-Term Trend; Remote Workflows and the Future of TV Station Operations; IP & the Cloud: A Roadmap for Future Revenue Opportunities; and Bolstering the Local and Regional Content Pipeline.
TVNewsCheck will also present its Station Group of the Year Award to NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations in a ceremony that will include an interview with the group’s president, Valari Staab, on Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. ET.
Attendees will participate in live, daily, two-and-a-half-hour sessions on Zoom Webinar, where they can pose questions to speakers, participate in live audience polling and wrap up the day with half-hour, open-mic Roundtables on key issues. They can also participate in conversations on the TV2025 Chat Channel on NAB Show New York’s virtual conference platform, where attendees can also attend sessions presented by NAB and visit a virtual exhibition.
