Pat Nevin Named VP-GM Of KIRO Seattle

Cox Media Group today appointed Pat Nevin to succeed Greg Bilte as the vice president and general manager of KIRO Seattle (DMA 13), its CBS affiliate, at the end of June.

The announcement comes on the heels of Bilte’s retirement, which was announced earlier this week. Nevin brings with him 30 years of experience in local broadcasting. He began his career at KHQ-TV in Spokane, Wash., then crossed the state to KSTW Seattle before beginning a successful 14-year career at Fox Broadcasting. Most recently, Nevin was VP-GM of KOIN-KRCW Portland, Ore.

Currently Nevin is the 2020 Board Chair of Oregon Association of Broadcasters, serves on the WSU Edward R. Murrow College of Communications Advisory Board, and SOLVE Oregon Founders Circle. His past memberships include ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications Board Member, JDRF Desert SW Chapter Board Member, and San Diego Humane Society Board of Trustees.

Nevin graduated from Washington State University.
