Robert Martinez Named WAND General Sales Manager
Block Communications-owned NBC affiliate WAND Champaign & Springfield-Decatur, Ill., has appointed Robert Martinez general sales manager.
Martinez, formerly was local sales manager at KHQ Spokane, Wash. Prior to that, he worked with the Nexstar Broadcasting Group in Fresno, Calif., along with broadcast and print media stints with other media groups in California.
Clay Koenig, WAND general manager, said: “Robert brings a wealth of experience to our sales department. We are very fortunate to have a general sales manager that focuses on hyperlocal, national accounts and digital.”
