Spectrum Reach Integrates Streaming TV Advertising Into Ad Portal

Spectrum Reach, the advertising sales business of Charter Communications, says it has expanded the capabilities of its self-service online media planning tool, Ad Portal, “to become a true multiscreen self-service platform that now allows businesses to create, plan and schedule live TV and streaming TV advertising campaigns.”

“Advertising on any screen should be easy to buy and execute,” said Michael Guth, senior vice president, marketing, Spectrum Reach. “With Ad Portal, we have simplified the process by offering a do-it-yourself solution for businesses to deliver their message to more customers, on more screens, through live TV and streaming TV advertising.”

First launched in 2019, Ad Portal now offers businesses what the company calls “an easy-to-use online platform to build multiscreen campaigns and also create custom 30-second TV ads with ease.” Using Spectrum Reach’s aggregated and de-identified data, businesses “will be able to reach even more targeted audiences, down to the ZIP-code level, through the power of streaming and live TV advertising on over 450 networks and publishers, including the Spectrum News App and the Spectrum TV App,” according to Spectrum Reach.

To reinforce Ad Portal’s do-it-yourself multiscreen capabilities, Spectrum Reach rolled-out a new advertising campaign across 88 markets, including 30- and 15-second TV and radio spots, and social media ads.

Spectrum says Ad Portal “features the highest level of brand safety for advertisers on the platform, including protecting against ad fraud, malware and piracy, and valid ad inventory verified through Oracle Moat. Spectrum Reach is the first local media sales organization to achieve Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) Platinum level certification.”
