HC2 Holdings Buys Two Florida LPTVs

Prime Time Partners sells WBEH-CD Miami for $4 million and WSPF-CD Tampa for $3.75 million to Philip Falcone’s HC2 Holdings.

HC2 Holdings, a New York-based public financial services company headed by Phillip Falcone, added to its television station portfolio today, filing applications to buy two LPTVs from Prime Time Partners.

The first is WBEH-CD, a class A LPTV in Miami (DMA 16), that was sold by WPMF Miami LLC for $4 million. The broker was Kozacko Media Services.

The second was WSPF-CD Tampa (DMA 11). It sold for $3.75 million. The broker was Greg Guy of Patrick Communications.

The seller, Prime Time Partners (Jose Rodriguez, manager), has no other stations.
