WGCL-WPCH Ups Jeff Holub To Station Manager

WGCL (CBS) and WPCH (independent), Meredith Corp.’s duopoly in Atlanta (DMA 10), on Wednesday promoted Jeff Holub to station manager, effective immediately. Holub most recently served as creative services director, overseeing all marketing, promotions, and production activities.

As station manager, Holub will work with VP-GM Lyle Banks toward the continued creation and execution of strategic and operational goals for the stations. The creative services department will continue to report to him.

“I continue to be impressed by the quality of Jeff’s contributions, and his reputation as a reliable and effective leader with a passion for excellence,” said Banks. “Jeff has been instrumental in the management and growth of programs like Books to Kids, Surprise Squad, and most recently, his leadership of the Pride Parade broadcast, Super Bowl planning, and other key initiatives.

Holub joined WGCL in 2013 as creative services director. Prior to joining Meredith, he spent 17 years at Cox Media Group.

“I have been so fortunate to work with the great team at CBS46 and Peachtree TV,” said Holub. “I’m honored that Meredith has given me the opportunity to help lead our two Atlanta stations alongside Lyle.”

Holub has received many awards including local, regional and national American Advertising Awards; a PROMAX Gold award; regional Emmy Awards; and a Tally Award.
