TVN’S TV2020 CONFERENCE

Zenith Media’s Vendetti To Keynote TV2020

Neil Vendetti, president of investment at Zenith, will explore what advertisers are looking for in a disrupted media environment in the keynote interview at TVNewsCheck’s annual TV2020: Monetizing the Future conference in New York in October.

Neil Vendetti, president of investment at Zenith, will address advertisers’ critical objectives in a rapidly evolving and disrupted media ecosystem in the keynote interview at TVNewsCheck’s fourth annual TV2020: Monetizing the Future in New York.

Vendetti will look at what advertisers want from media beyond the broadcasting sphere in the interview, to be conducted by TVNewsCheck’s Special Projects Editor Michael Depp at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at New York’s Javits Center.

“Broadcasters need to know what their advertisers are looking for, and the industry’s rampant disruption has made that more of a moving target than ever,” said Kathy Haley, TVNewsCheck’s publisher and co-founder. “At Zenith, Neil has an enviable vantage point in tracking those objectives and measuring the impact of platforms like OTT and digital on advertisers’ goals.”

Vendetti is a 16-year veteran at Zenith, where he has identified and developed campaigns for very distinct and hard-to-reach consumers. Under his leadership, Zenith’s national broadcast department became its national video department, and the company now negotiates top-tier online video alongside its broadcast buys. Prior to Zenith, Vendetti was EVP, managing director of national video activation on the Toyota Motor Sales team. He is a graduate of Bucknell University.

TV2020: Monetizing the Future is presented at NAB Show New York. This year’s conference will examine a range of issues facing the broadcasting industry, including the future of spot TV sales, technology leaders on IP and the ongoing cloud transition, investing in and capitalizing on ATSC 3.0, diversifying broadcast revenue streams and broadcast leaders on the industry’s future. It’s opening presentation on pivotal trends in TV audience behavior will be given by Radha Subramanyam, CBS’s chief research officer.

Produced by the National Association of Broadcasters and co-located with the Audio Engineering Society’s East Coast convention, NAB Show New York will be held Oct. 16-17 at the Javits Convention Center.
