Fremantle, ITV Studios and BBC Studios say they will not attend the Mipcom TV market in Cannes (Oct 12-15) amid coronavirus concerns. ITV will host the ITV Studios Fall Festival, a series of virtual content sessions for buyers held over three weeks from Sept. 14.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has become the subject of an internal investigation by WarnerMedia following numerous accounts of workplace problems on the long-running daytime series, Variety has learned. Executives from show producer Telepictures and distributor Warner Bros. Blindspot aired the final episode of its impressive five-season run last night to unspectacular numbers. The last ever edition of Blindspot scored a 0.3 rating among adults 18-49, which does represent a slight tick up from the penultimate episode. However, only 1.7 million viewers tuned in to see how the story would end, which represents a viewership low for its fifth and final season. Univision was the top network on the night overall with a 0.5 average rating.
