Television’s streaming leaders will share insights and strategies for finding and building audiences and monetizing their streaming channels in Streaming News 2021: Optimizing Audience and Revenue, a virtual conference on June 9 beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
Streaming executives from CBS News Digital, Fox Owned Stations, Gray Television, E.W. Scripps, CBC, Cox Media Group, Disney/ABC and KSL will join the event, which features two panels, a fireside chat and roundtable discussion.
The first panel, Building and Expanding Audiences, will focus on finding and retaining audiences for news streaming services in a crowded OTT ecosystem. The second panel, Best Practices for Generating Revenue, will offer practical, strategic advice for programmatic, direct sales and bundling approaches to selling streaming advertising, along with insights into successful subscription models.
A closing roundtable discussion will look at expanding streaming distribution and revenue by connecting easily to a range of OTT platforms while seamlessly integrating ads.
“Streaming is now table stakes for news organizations, and we’ve convened the early movers and most aggressive on OTT among them for these critical conversations about audience-building and revenue generation,” said TVNewsCheck Editor Michael Depp. “Whether broadcasters are already well entrenched in their streaming efforts or still on the cusp of rolling them out, this conference will offer practical guidance for grappling with the twin challenges of audience and revenue growth.”
