KPBS, a service of San Diego State University and a distinguished public radio and television licensee, invites candidates for the position of General Manager.

KPBS has a well-deserved reputation as a trusted source of news, entertainment and information.

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall vision, strategic initiatives, budget, management, reputation and success of KPBS and must demonstrate a commitment to leading a successful and respected public media service.

The equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, a minimum of seven years of increasingly responsible leadership experiences, and experience with strategic and financial planning and fundraising are required.
