Welcome to the future of video advertising! Premion, a leader in the fast-growing “Over-the-Top” local marketplace, is looking for a talented advanced TV Account Executive to help lead Premion’s sales efforts. This position will report to our Regional Sales Director in Los Angeles.
We are bringing a unique approach to the market leveraging smart TVs and OTT devices to deliver ads in real time for local and regional advertisers based on their targeting criteria. This opportunity will appeal to those excited about disrupting the traditional and doing something different in the television space. In this role you will be responsible for evangelizing the Premion brand and generating sales revenue, achieving sales quotas by:
Articulately relaying Premion Media’s value proposition in the marketplace
Possessing the necessary “hunter” mentality
Cultivating, developing and fostering relationships across agencies and brands
Performing cold-contacts with sources and networks
Quickly assessing the needs of a client
Collaborating with client formulating successful campaigns generating ROI for the client and revenue for Premion Advertising Solutions
Managing and owning a relationship-based, consultative sales cycle
Identifying, monitoring and accurately forecasting sales activity in sales pipeline and via SFDC
Developing monthly and quarterly plans detailing both new business/prospecting and growing business to achieve performance metrics
Preparing presentations and sales proposals
Negotiating terms, and conditions with advertisers
Formulating targeted strategies and implement them with clients
Developing new methods of reaching clients – this is a new product and we’re in search of a new mind
Being the subject matter expert in all things OTT, CTV, digital video and related data application
Ability to tell compelling stories via PowerPoint and presentation
Strengths in educating others – our product is unique!
Other responsibilities as required (we’re a young company – we all pitch in and get things done!)
Qualifications We’re Looking For:
3-5 years of media sales experience
Proven success in selling FEP, streaming, OTT, advanced TV and/or digital video in respective market
Effective driver of revenue, must be able to demonstrate ability to produce new business conversions
Existing advanced TV agency and client relationships
Excellent presentation skills
Proficient sales/business development acumen
Experience in digital, and/or advanced TV/addressable sales environment
Understanding of data both on the targeting and measurement sides
Attention to detail and organization
Time management and the ability to juggle competing client needs
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and team player
Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to travel 20% of the time
Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Marketing or Journalism preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Salesforce or CRM software is required
Knowledge of media buying platforms, Strata and Mediaocean preferred
Working knowledge of Wide Orbit preferred
