AccuWeather Network Debuts ‘AccuWeather Prime’

The AccuWeather Network has introduced a new live two-hour show AccuWeather Prime with senior TV weather broadcaster and American Meteorological Society certified broadcast meteorologist Adam Del Rosso as host. AccuWeather Prime can be seen every weeknight from 8 to 10 p.m. ET.

AccuWeather Prime stories are designed to enable their audiences to “see, hear and feel” the weather. Coverage is steeped in a foundation of expertise with insights from AccuWeather weather experts. In addition to weather news, with the latest updates on severe weather, and interviews, AccuWeather Prime includes exclusive new features that will provide practical weather-wise solutions. AccuWeather Prime will also deliver stories from AccuWeather’s established, themed content series, Living Well and AccuWeather Explores.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of AccuWeather Prime, the latest addition to our weekly programming schedule at AccuWeather Network,” said AccuWeather Network General Manager Sarah Katt.  “As we continue to grow, both in content and distribution, we are finding new ways to connect with viewers and build upon the trust and loyalty we have with our growing audience with new and compelling content to match their interests.”

Trish Mikita, AccuWeather vice president of content, said: “The AccuWeather Network provides our audience with industry-leading weather news reporting, helping them to better plan their lives and stay safe.  We are delighted to be digging deeper with this exciting new programming, which brings together our innovative approach to content development and the demand for award-winning, high-caliber programming our audiences have come to depend on as people become increasingly fascinated by weather and want to be ‘in the know.’ ”

I have ACCUWeather Network was added in Jan of this year even know the channel number is blank with no name its ACCUWeather Network. I kinda surprised that they don’t have Battle Creek in the locations they have which has quite a few locations which is good if your planning a road trip in the state of Michigan, but if you just want the forecast for your area The Weather Channel is better with that ACCUWeather Network a lot of info why there is only half a screen with the forecast and the weather anchors other is for minute cast and the info for the location along with a 5-day forecast.

When it’s time for the local forecast shows you the highs & lows for the day and next day although seems to get the highs and lows wrong for some reason 36-hour loop what will be and if rain or storms coming in and does have a map with a loop for the next few hours no text when they do the local forecast just the 7-day forecast for your area which where I live is always last at the bottom Detroit is on top kinda surprised GR isn’t in the local forecast for the 7-Day which I don’t think they need Northern Michigan cities just my opinion.

ACCUWeather Network seems to be tape than live that is what I get from the network they do a good job when there is an outbreak of server weather late at night they have gone fishing with it being on tape. Kinda like The Weather Channel if there is an outbreak of server weather I know lots don’t like that The Weather Channel air reality programs in primetime and all day on the weekend I get it I think no one cares if it’s clear and the low will be 55 degrees as the low.
