Starting next week, there will be a new face delivering the traffic report on Eyewitness News This Morning. Alexa Lorenzo will be taking the morning traffic report reins from Deneige Broom, who is moving on to a new role in Charlotte.
Lorenzo’s first day will be Jan. 10 where she will join anchors Kirstin Delgado and Christian Bruey from 4:30-7 a.m.
“I’m thrilled to be joining this amazing crew as the new traffic anchor.” Lorenzo said on social media, adding that she will be “helping you start your day, getting you through trouble spots, and reporting on Central FL’s booming transportation scene.”
Lorenzo originally joined WFTV in September 2019. Prior to moving to Orlando, she was a reporter at FOX 13 Memphis.
