Allison Wise Named KHBS-KHOG Weeknight Evening News Anchor

Hearst Television’s Fort Smith-Fayetteville, Ark., ABC affiliates KHBS-KHOG have appointed Allison Wise as weeknight evening news anchor.

She will anchor 40/29 News at 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday alongside anchor Phil Reed and Chief Meteorologist Darby Bybee. Wise will anchor 40/29 News at 6, 9 and 10 p.m. alongside anchor Brandon Evans and Darby Bybee.

Currently, Wise anchors 40/29 News on weekday mornings on ABC 40/29 and The Arkansas CW, while also reporting on all 40/29 media platforms. As a member of the 40/29 News team Wise has earned two Associated Press and one Edward R. Murrow award.

Wise graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in communication and political science in 2008. She received her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas.
