Anchor Amber Krycka Joins WEEK News
Quincy Media- owned NBC affiliate WEEK Peoria, Ill. (DMA 120) has hired Amber Krycka to anchor 25 News at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. weekdays starting Sept. 14. She will co-anchor with WEEK veteran anchor Tyler Lopez.

She is a fantastic addition to our team of news professionals.”
Krycka grew up in New Buffalo, Mich., and graduated from Western Michigan University with a journalism degree.
She began her career at KNOP North Platte, Neb., as a reporter/anchor. She continued at WTVQ Lexington, Ky., and most recently as a reporter/anchor at WJAX-WFOX Jacksonville, Fla.
