Nexstar’s KDVR-KWGN Denver today appointed reporter-anchor Andrea Henderson as co-anchor for Fox31 Morning News.
In making the announcement News Director Sean McNamara said: “Andrea has made remarkable contributions to our mission, she’s an exceptional journalist and will be a great addition to the morning news team.”
Previously, Henderson co-anchored 2Prime News on KWGN, along with serving as reporter for other newscasts. She joined the KDVR-KWGN team in December of 2022.
Prior to her move west, Henderson worked at WCMH Columbus, Ohio, as a traffic anchor and reporter. She has also worked as a morning anchor/reporter for WINK Fort Myers, Fla. During her time there, she covered everything from Hurricane Irma and its devastating effects on the area to the major water crisis that hit Southwest Florida in 2019.
Henderson started her career in Lima, Ohio, as a weekend anchor.
She is a graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, with a degree in journalism.
