Ariana Garcilazo Joins KTAZ Phoenix As Multimedia Journalist

Telemundo’s KTAZ Phoenix has hired Ariana Garcilazo as multimedia journalist for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona. The newscast airs Monday through Friday at 11 a.m., 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. and on weekends at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Noticiero Telemundo Arizona is simulcast on Telemundo’s KHRR Phoenix. Garcilazo’s on-air debut will be Monday, June 13.

Prior to joining KTAZ, Garcilazo worked as multimedia journalist for KUDF Tucson from 2020 to 2022. Also, she served as on-air talent for Urbana 92.5 FM Tucson since 2018.

Garcilazo earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and broadcasting from Arizona Christian University in Phoenix.
