DMA 35: CINCINNATI
Ashley Kirklen Joins WLWT Newsroom
Hearst NBC affiliate WLWT Cincinnati (DMA 35), has hired Ashley Kirklen as an anchor-reporter effective Aug. 27. She will anchor WLWT News 5 at Noon as well as contributing reporting to various newscasts.
Kirklen grew up in Indianapolis and is a graduate of Indiana University. She comes to WLWT after serving as morning anchor and reporter at WGXA Macon, Ga., for three years.
Prior to Macon, she was a reporter for WLUC Marquette, Mich., for two years. She also spent time as a teacher overseas in South Korea.
