Chantal Sansores Named KTDO El Paso’s Lead Consumer Investigative Reporter

Telemundo’s KTDO El Paso has appointed Chantal Sansores to lead the station’s consumer investigative unit Telemundo 48 El Paso Responde, which is exclusively dedicated to helping local viewers get answers to consumer problems. Stories air during KTDO’s local newscast weekdays at 4, 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

“Chantal has done an outstanding job covering stories of interest in the community,” said Alejandro Pariente, KTDO news director. “In this new role, she will continue to work for our viewers by helping them get the answers and resolutions they need.”

Sansores joined KTDO in 2014 as a multimedia journalist after working as reporter. Since then, she has contributed and been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Lonestar Chapter for special reports in immigration, culture, and hard news coverage. She earned a master’s degree in public management and a bachelor’s in communication and digital media from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Since the unit’s launch in 2019, Telemundo 48 Responde has answered more than 1,000 consumer tips and recovered over $175,000 and counting.
